Here at YWAM Yosemite we strive to demonstrate hospitality; as we believe that it is an expression of God’s character. This is an avenue for us to serve other people as we celebrate their value. We affirm that is important for us have open homes and open hearts so that we can display God’s heart, which is for us to serve, love, and honor one another.
If you would like to stay with us, we have two hospitality rooms available for guests to stay in. All stays are on a donation basis, with a suggestion of $10 per night. If you are interested, please fill out the Hospitality Form. We would be happy to suggest places to eat here in Oakhurst, or to help you find your way around some of the local grocery stores. If you do your own grocery shopping, you are more than welcome to use our refrigerators.
The weather in the Sierra Nevada can vary, even in the summer you can get caught in a thunderstorm or heavy rain. Check out www.wunderground.com for the most accurate weather forecast, and bring appropriate clothing.
The nearest international airport to us is Fresno Yosemite International (FAT). It’s only a 45 minute drive away from us. Rental cars are easy to reserve and pick up once you land. Other airports that are 2-3 hours away include, San Francisco, San Jose, Oakland, and Sacramento.
Unfortunately, we cannot provide transportation during your visit to Oakhurst/ Yosemite.
WHAT TO BRING
We will provide you with a bed and plenty of blankets. Please bring your own towels and toiletries. Sometimes our hospitality rooms fill up, but if you’re single and adventurous, you can camp out on our floors, or outside in a tent. In that case, bring your own gear (BYOG.)
