There is a generation rising up that is on fire for Jesus. They are discovering that Jesus is better than everything the world has to offer. Our teams have worked with youth camps where we’ve discipled these young people, trained them how to share the Gospel, prayed and worshiped with them. Lebanon is a country that is in complete economic collapse. Many young people are doing everything they can to leave and begin life elsewhere in the world. We’ve been praying for Japan for years now… but the doors haven’t opened yet for us to go. We are praying that this is the year! There are many ministry opportunities there for creatives and artists. Japan has one of the highest suicide rates in the world, and the people there desperately need the hope and abundant life that only Jesus has to offer them. In one of the villages, we met this woman… the only believer in her village. The only believer for who knows how many miles. She had immense swelling in her knees and she couldn’t walk. We laid hands and prayed for her, and she was healed! In Nepal, we are seeing God move in power as the Gospel is preached! There are many in hard-to-reach places of Nepal who have never had an opportunity to hear the Gospel. At first, we felt a little awkward singing worship music in front of this whole crowd who didn’t speak our language. But then one of the guys on our team started sharing the Gospel through a translator. Many people responded to the Gospel with open and curious hearts. And then God showed up in power. That night alone we saw a mute man begin speaking and at least 18 Thai people proclaim faith in Jesus. Since then, our translator has been returning to this village to shepherd the new flock there. By the end of that night, we were deeply encouraged and were so grateful that we showed up with willing hearts instead of taking a nap.
